Not that I haven’t written things; I’ve actually been writing a lot the past three weeks. I think I clocked about 25,000 words. However, they weren’t for my blog; it shall not be neglected. Here is a personal update.

I backed into my garage door with my car last Saturday. That sucked. My backup camera showed nothing in the way, my backup sensor did not beep, and my rearview mirror and back window were clear. I backed out, and CRUNCH! I still did not see anything. I got out, and saw my garage door opened halfway. The bottom of the door was right at the edge of my car’s roof. If it were an inch lower, I would have seen it. Instead I bent a bracket, dislodged a door wheel, and scratched the roof of my car.

The bracket has red screws, and a warning “Do not touch, the springs will kill you.” I called a professional. A repairman spent a minute hammering the bent bracket, and jimmied the wheel back onto the track. I have not gotten the bill yet, but I am sure it will not be cheap. The guy was nice, and fixed a few other things with both of my garage doors.

I really need to wash my car. Right now I cannot tell how much damage was done to it. It only looks a little scratched. I might have someone paint it if it is too bad.

I have been listening to a lot of Papa Roach. I saw them at a concert a few years ago, and was impressed. I had only heard their singles growing up, and, although I liked what I heard, I never listened to them. Now, I am working my way backwards through their discography. I still have Infest to listen to. So far I really like all of their albums, except Lovehatetragedy.

Another band at the concert was Savage After Midnight. They rebranded to S.A.M. They released their first album last month. I really liked their EP, 11:59. It has a very heavy rock feel to it. Their new album, Choke Artist, has a more pop hardrock sound to it, like newer Asking Alexandria and Papa Roach songs. It is not a bad thing; I dig it.

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="500" height="500" src="https://www.royfuss.com/royfuss/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/SAM-Choke_Artist.jpg" alt="S.A.M. I want to finish the Left Behind series, as well the the Left Behind Kids series by June. I am about halfway through both, so it is not looking good. I will give a little review after I am finished.

I have been playing a few video games. I finished Halo 2. Next, I am planning on starting Halo 3: ODST. Prepare for part two of “Why Do I Hate Halo.”

I have been watching G4 on Youtube. It’s back if you didn’t know. I plan on doing a review of their comeback. Overall, it is a good thing.

I mentioned in the last few posts that I am playing a tabletop RPG with a group of friends. I have played two sessions with my new character. I am really liking Bozashara. She is a lot of fun, and fits in with the rest of the group. I am sure I will write a story about her, and share it.

You may have noticed I have been updating pretty regularly. However, I missed a few weeks. I created a wiki for our RPG campaign, and did all of the writing for it. Like I said at the beginning of this post, I wrote over 25,000 words. I wrote it quickly, but I did try to edit it a little bit as I went. It’s not my best writing, but it does the job of reminding us what we did. You can check it out here. Go ahead and read about my new character while you are there.

I just wanted to give you a personal update. I’ve done a lot of writing, and I did not want to dive into something half haphazardly, but I did want to get a new post up this week. There are a lot of things to look forward to, so stay tuned.

I needed to write this week.
