I think I finally found out what it means to make some one else's burden, yours.

On Monday, June 5, a soldier by the name of Travis Van Zoest was killed in Afghanistan.

Not only was he a soldier, but he was my best friend's brother. I didn't know him that well, nor did I really like him, but I wept for him. I knew how much my friend loved his brother.

Maybe that's what it means to make other people's burden yours. Or maybe on off, either way, I just want to ask that you'll keep his family in your prayers.

I find it kinda odd that I just give a, "Oh that's too bad" when I hear about a soldier dying, but when it comes to a best friend's brother, I give it more attention. I don't understand it.
